The Milano
Walnut & Cream Gloss
This design embodies all current contemporary design thinking, the use of the one space living area seamlessy performing many different functions, blended to form the total ultimate family living area. Moving from the working kitchen and breakfast area to the informal dining and into the media area containing Audio Visual equipment and furniture, and on beyond clear glass panels into the pool and Spa area. The perfect family and entertaining space. Although we have a very contemporary design, the blend of Black Walnut and high gloss have allowed us to apply this combination into buildings that were rustic farm barns. The large gloss panels at the end of the working kitchen open to reveal a play area for the children and access to the utility space beyond.
Design Note
If we had used only one material here the design would have failed. The use of only high gloss finishes would have produced a kitchen completely out of step with its situation, and too clinical for a family home.
